When visiting Disneyland Park or Disney's California Adventure theme parks, it's tempting to bring along food to save some money (yes, despite the official policy forbidding outside food on the Disney website, food is routinely brought into the park), but food at Disneyland is often one of the funnest parts of your Disneyland Packages Vacation experience. But rather than spend hard-earned cash on your Disneyland Packages Vacation on just average cafeteria-style food around the park, save up for delicious and unique dining experiences that are truly worth the money.
If the dining budget allows for one or more full meal, consider a character dining experience or sit-down restaurant meal. Character dining comes with a hefty price tag, but the food, usually buffet-style, is impeccably good and the close-up character experiences would translate to hours and hours waiting in lines to greet and take photographs with the same characters. Sit-down meals can be expensive as well, but depending on what is ordered, may be only marginally more expensive than cafeteria-style dining around the park. The table service, beverage service and dessert treats that often come with the check are added bonuses. All sit-down locations offer discounts for Annual Passport holders. Disneyland Packages is the only way to go.
Disneyland Packages FastPass
A Disneyland Packages Fastpass is a way to avoid long lines on some attractions. To get a Disneyland Packages Fastpass for a particular attraction, you simple put your Disney Resort ticket into the Fastpass machine, usually located right next to the attraction. The machine will then give you a Fastpass good for a 1-hour window later in the day (for example 1pm to 2pm), and you get your Disney Resort ticket back as well. Do not lose your Disneyland Packages Resort ticket, because without it you not only cannot get any further Fastpasses, you also can't get back into Disneyland or Disney's California Adventure. After obtaining your Fastpass, check to see what range of times it is valid for and then put it in a safe place. One great place to store a Disneyland Packages Fastpass and your park ticket is in a lanyard with a small storage area made just for that reason.
The range of times that you can return that is printed on the Disneyland Packages Fastpass ticket you receive is determined by the number of Fastpasses already issued for that attraction.
